FAQ

Q: HOW DO I GET ON A WAIT LIST?

All prospective families are required to attend a tour before submitting a wait list application. We have found that touring the school allows families to ask questions, learn more about our unique philosophy, and helps to align expectations. Additionally, this ensures that our wait list does not become too long.

Once you have attended a tour, you are invited to submit a completed wait list application, along with the $40 wait list fee for each child.

Q: HOW LONG IS THE WAIT LIST?

It is always hard to answer this question. Because of the way we enroll – i.e., we create cohorts of children within a six month age range – your child will always be waiting for an opening in the same cohort. This means that enrollment offers rely on:

  • The order of names on the wait list
  • our child’s birth date
  • Your requested child care needs
  • Your requested start date
  • Your noted flexibility

Q: IS THERE ANY WAY TO IMPROVE MY CHANCES?

Yes, please keep us updated on any flexibility in your desired schedule as your child care needs change.

Q: HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT TO BE ON THE WAIT LIST?

This is the hardest question to answer. Because we have such a low attrition rate, placement generally depends on the unpredictable withdrawal of an enrolled family.

Q: WHAT IF WE NEVER GET PLACED?

You will remain on the wait list until:

  • You are placed
  • You request to be removed from the wait list
  • Your child is too old to attend our school
