ChildRoots schools are progressive, play-based, and rooted in the philosophies of Reggio, RIE and constructivism. Our schools are beautiful, empowering places to learn and grow, and we're looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our Southeast Center team ASAP and an interim Preschool Teacher to join our Fremont Center team from September to November!
As a Preschool Teacher, you'll provide loving, committed primary care for up to 10 children. You'll possess experience caring for young children, preferably in a licensed child care facility or as a nanny, babysitter or parent. Completion of college coursework related to early childhood education is a wonderful asset but is not required.
We offer standard, transparent starting wages to all new employees, so in this position, you'll start at $12.75/hour and be eligible for up to $0.50/hour merit raises after 90 days and annually. In September 2017, you'll also receive our scheduled company-wide pay increase - at least $0.50/hour!

To work with us, you must be enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry.
Also, within your first 30 days of employment, you'll need to have:
• Food Handler's Card
• CPR/First Aid
• Completion of a Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect course.
• Completion of an Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety course
