We believe in our local community and we support local organizations that align with our desire to support the most tender populations – at-risk youth, the disenfranchised, animals and, of course, the environment. We currently make annual contributions (of time and money) to the following organizations:
Bark is awesome! Bark is the resource for community action to protect Mt. Hood National Forest and surrounding federal lands. Bark prioritizes grassroots organizing and believes in the power of an engaged public.
CHAP brings the healing power of art to life. Whether it’s a beading project, animation, puppet-making, collage, or simply drawing with a black marker on a sketch pad, CHAP works to make sure each child finds his or her own voice through the artistic process.
The Dougy Center
The Dougy Center provides support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults, and their families grieving a death can share their experiences. The Dougy Center is supported solely through private support from individuals, foundations and companies.
Ethos is a Portland, Oregon-based non-profit organization that offers music lessons, classes, camps and workshops for students ages 2 and older. Ethos was founded in 1998 by a group of dedicated volunteers who believed that all kids should have access to music education. Today, Ethos carries out their vision by teaching music from our North Portland headquarters, as well as through rural and urban outreach programs.
Fences for Fido
Fences for Fido improves the quality of life for dogs living outdoors by building fences free of charge for families who keep their dogs on chains, tethers, and in small enclosures. Fences for Fido also provides an insulated doghouse for each dog as well as spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care when needed.

Friends of Trees is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to bring people together to plant and care for city trees and green spaces in Pacific Northwest communities.

The Organic Consumers Association (OCA) is an online and grassroots non-profit 501(c)3 public interest organization campaigning for health, justice, and sustainability. We are the only organization in the US focused exclusively on promoting the views and interests of the nation's estimated 50 million organic and socially responsible consumers.
OSPIRG is a consumer group that stands up to powerful interests whenever they threaten our health and safety, our financial security or our right to fully participate in our democratic society. For decades, OSPIRG has stood up for consumers, countering the influence of big banks, insurers, chemical manufacturers and other powerful special interests.
